End of Summer Update

I have been super busy over the summer with a record number of appointments in August, despite the heat (10.00am became a much sought after appointment time!). I have also had executor responsibilities for my Dad's estate and doing all the admin that involves - steep learning curve but actually a complete honour that he chose me to administer it all after he passed away.

Holy Fire® III Reiki Ryoho Reiki Master - Glastonbury

I successfully completed the Reiki Master level in June and the upgraded energy from that is just beautiful. The group of people who formed the class came from all corners of the world and that enriched the whole experience with so many different opinions and experiences to share and learn from.

My week in Glastonbury coincided with the red alert heat wave and in the fantastic setting of the Abbey House at Glastonbury Abbey, the three day course came to a dramatic end with a supercell storm right overhead with a direct lightning strike, flooding and horizontal trees. It was quite a way to end our training and seemed somehow rather momentous. The energy from the storm was palpable and in any other setting it would have been frightening but we all felt held in the Reiki energy and could appreciate the absolute force of mother nature. Ceremonial Drum Birthing Day

I also spent a few days in the stunning New Forest at a drum birthing ceremony and now have my own oak framed deer skin drum with rose quartz at the heart, birthed by own hands with such deep love for the deer and oak spirits. I also made my own beater from a fallen oak branch in my garden at home.

The day was led by the incredible Trudi from Wild Samsara (check her out on socials) and the reverence for the animals and trees was foremost. All the skins are humanely sourced and it was particularly important to me that no animal was slaughtered for it's hide. They are either a by product of naturally deceased deer or skins from culled deer that would otherwise have been thrown away. To give new life to the deer spirit in such a sensitive way was a central part of the day. Playing my drum brings my nervous system down into rest and digest and sometimes I will be moving with the drum, and other times it is a quieter more reflective session. I just love how I can feel it inside my body in deep connection to myself.

ICRT Animal Reiki I & II Training

In upcoming news for the Autumn, I am doing ICRT Animal Reiki I & II this weekend with the amazing Karen from Reiki with Karen and I am so excited to add this to my offerings. I will be working with cows, alpacas, horses and turkeys on an amazing location in Surrey and cannot express how much I am looking forward to this. I will be attuned with a specific Reiki symbol and will learn so much more about animals and how Reiki benefits and helps them and I am sure my dog can't wait for me to share with him afterwards!! There are so many ways to use Reiki with animals so once I have settled into the new energy I will be exploring how I would like to offer this in my healing practice.

An Afternoon of Relaxation, Connection and Creation

In November I am running an afternoon of relaxation, connection and creation where I will lead a Reiki experience with a small group of people, allowing them to sink into deep relaxation and reset their nervous systems. This will be followed by a cuppa and biscuits and then I will lead a workshop to create a macrame Goddess of Love. It will be a wonderfully wholesome afternoon filled with love and laughter and everyone will leave with a lightness in their hearts and their Goddess will be infused with Reiki energy to help with remembering to show themselves love and care. This will be the first event I have led and I am very grateful to have Karen with me for the afternoon for moral support!!

I am still quietly working away on my womb reiki course and so excited for the new offerings that are coming over the next few months. I will share more as soon as I can!!
