How it's Going!

Two weeks ago I ran a promotion offering a free Reiki session for September, through a local Horsham Facebook page. The reason was two-fold; I need to get as much practice as I can, particularly with my Master level booked for June 2026 and, I wanted to offer some much-needed relaxation and self-care to as many of the lovely ladies in and around Horsham who felt the call to try Reiki as I could. I was absolutely astonished at the response and found myself fully booked into October!!! I had to withdraw the free code the same day (although I am sure I will be offering another promotion soon!).
I am meeting some really wonderful women who all have individual reasons for trying Reiki healing, and I am enjoying the diverse experiences this is providing and learning so much about the practice of Reiki. It is really just cementing the fact that this is what I want to be doing - actually, need to be doing - and to be able to share such a gentle but powerful healing modality is an honour.
The absolute beauty of Holy Fire Reiki is the gentle but powerful healing it provides and not only does my client receive this healing but I do too. The energy comes directly from source and whilst I am also channelling the Reiki energy through my hands, I am receiving as I do so, as the Reiki energy goes to where it is needed. I have some clients who worry that I may carry their stresses or worries which are released during a session but that is not the case and I have a protocol that I follow afterwards - I not only cleanse the Reiki room before and after a client, but I also do the same with myself. It is a beautiful way to honour the sacred energy and the healing that took place.
I am running my sessions in my dining room at the moment (not on the dining table!!!) and have plans for a bespoke Reiki Pod in my garden. So far my dog has been so good and just watches TV in the sitting room while I do my thing. However, sharing a house with a husband who works from home some days and a daughter who works different shifts and comes and goes A LOT, it will be so much easier when I don't have to factor any of that into the offering and I can then open up my diary to more availability. and really make the healing space just about Reiki. Updates will follow as this gets underway...
